宇航员的英文（Taikonauts！国外发来的祝贺中）

6月17日，中国成功发射神舟十二号载人飞船后，欧洲航天局（ESA）和俄罗斯联邦航天局（Roscosmos）接连在推特上发来祝贺，并且都使用了专指中国航天员的“taikonauts”一词，而不是英文中常见的“astronauts”（宇航员）。

“Taikonaut”是由中文“太空”的拼音和英语单词astronaut混成的拼缀词，特指中国航天员。根据维基词典，该词最早由马来西亚华人赵里昱于1998年提出。

The word is a hybrid of the Chinese term "taikong" (space) and the Greek "naut" (traveler), modelled after astronaut, cosmonaut, etc. The term was coined in 1998 by Chiew Lee Yih from Malaysia, who used it first in newsgroups.

欧空局在推特上转发了法新社的报道并写道：

Congratulations to the China National Space Administration on the launch of three'taikonauts'on their Shenzhou 12 mission to the Tianhe (Heavenly Harmony) space station.

“祝贺中国国家航天局发射神舟十二号载人飞船，将三名‘taikonauts’送入天和空间站（核心舱）。”

俄联邦航天局也在推特上祝贺了中方：“祝贺我们的中国同行成功将神舟十二号载人飞船，以及3名‘taikonauts’送入天和空间站（核心舱）。中国向前迈出了自信一步！团结一致，我们能做到更多！”

不少外媒在报道这则新闻时，也用taikonauts指代我国的航天员。
